NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. ALL FEDERAL, STATE, LOCAL, AND MUNICIPAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS APPLY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
ELIGIBILITY: Sweepstakes begins at 12:01 a.m., Eastern Time, (ET), April 21, 2008 and ends at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time on June 21, 2008. Sweepstakes is open to all legal US residents of Illinois, Wisconsin, & Indiana who are 18 years of age or older. Only one person per household address is eligible to qualify to win a prize. No person may qualify more than once to win a prize. Employees, officers, and directors of Eddie Z's Blinds and Drapery, ("Eddie Z's Blinds and Drapery "), and any of their respective affiliated companies, subsidiaries, distributors, dealers, advertising and promotion agencies, any and all other entities directly associated with this Sweepstakes, as well as the immediate family members and members of the same household of any of the above are NOT ELIGIBLE to participate.
TWO WAYS TO ENTER:
Internet Limitations of Liability: If for any reason this Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, the Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes in whole or in part, at any time, without notice and award the prizes using all non-suspect eligible entries received as of this termination date. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, d efect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. The Sponsor is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or telephone lines, computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or entry to be received by Sponsor on account of technical problems, human error or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant's or any other person's computer relating to or resulting from participation in this Sweepstakes or downloading any materials in this Sweepstakes. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES OR OTHER REMEDIES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON (S) RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ATTEMPT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of a winner based on an e-mail address, the winning entry will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at time of entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider or other organization (e.g., business, educational, institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.
PRIZES: One (1) GRAND PRIZE winner will receive an entire house of blinds, approximate retail value (ARV) $5,000. One 1st Prize winner will receive an entire floor of blinds, (ARV) $3,000. One 2nd Prize winner will receive an entire room of blinds (ARV) $1,000. Total Prize package has an (ARV) of $8,000.
DRAWING and NOTIFICATION: Grand Prize winner will be selected, from among all eligible entries received, in a random drawing conducted on or about June 22, 2008 by the American Sweepstakes & Promotion Co., ("Sweepstakes Administrator") an independent judging organization, whose decisions are final in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. Odds of winning will depend on the total number of eligible entries received. All prize winners will be notified by telephone initially and confirmed in writing via USPS mail, or other home delivery service of Sponsor's choice. If prize winners do not or are unable to respond within seven (7) days of notification, another winner will be chosen.
PRIZE CONDITIONS: Grand Prize winner is solely responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes associated with the receipt of any prize. The three (3) prize winners will be required to sign an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release, to be returned within 14 days of written notification, or prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected. The winner's entry and acceptance of the prize offered constitutes permission (except where prohibited) for the Sponsors to use said winner's name, photograph, likeness, statements, biographical information, voice and address (city and state), in all forms of media, in perpetuity, without notice or further compensation.
TERMS & CONDITIONS: This Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sweepstakes Administrator, and waive any right to claim ambiguity in the Sweepstakes or these Official Rules. All entrants expressly agree to permit Eddie Z's Blinds & Drapery to use entrants' names, addresses and contact information for marketing purposes, including, but not limited to direct mail and email. All prize winners and entrants also expressly agree to release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless the Sponsors including any of its subsidiaries or related companies, vendors associated with the Sweepstakes, and the respective officers and employees of these entities, from and against any claims, damages or liability due to any injuries, damages or losses to any person (including death) or property of any kind resulting in whole or in any part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize offered, or participation in this Sweepstakes. Any person attempting to defraud or in any way tamper with the Sweepstakes mechanics and/or implementation will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. All claims arising out of this Sweepstakes will be resolved in the state and federal courts of the State of Rhode Island, USA, and applying Rhode Island laws. This Sweepstakes is void where prohibited.
